Bre and Shane – Brisbane Wedding
BRE AND SHANE – 16th October 2015
Sunshine Coast and Brisbane Wedding Photography….
Bre and Shane were married at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens under a Chandelier hanging from a tree. Their day was packed full of love. There was a big surprise announcement during the ceremony, the wonderful news that Bre and Shane were expecting a baby!! Their family and friends were delighted and the entire day was just perfect from beginning to end.
The day came full circle, when we escaped the candlelit marque for some quiet time underneath the chandelier, followed by some fun with sparklers!
Wedding Theme/Style: Rustic
How did you meet: At a pub
Tell me all about the proposal:
We were on a family holiday in Bali, we went for dinner together at The Semaya, it was an amazing night, great food, magical setting, although Shane was sick with Bali belly he still managed this magical evening. When our dessert came to the table he had organised with the staff to place the ring in my dessert. I was too busy taking photos for social media to even notice the ring until i went to take my first bite! He went on to say a beautiful little speech and of course i said YES!
What do you love to do as a couple?
Going overseas on holidays and spending time with our daughter Harper and dog Ruby.
What was your biggest surprise on your wedding day? Seeing that it all came together exactly how we had imagined from the flowers to the table settings to the cake and all the finer details, they all turned out perfectly. Also having all of our families in the one place with all of my family having travelled from Tasmania.
What one moment will last with you both forever?
Being 17 weeks pregnant on our wedding day was very special as our little girl was right there with us.
Describe some of your favorite wedding details and how you came up with them?
We both gave each other a little gift with a lovely note that we each opened before leaving for the ceremony-this was quite special. Also our bridal table setting i absolutely loved- we had old planks covered with over 100 jars with candles and moss scattered about, with tunston lights hanging from the ceiling. Majority of our ideas came from pinterest.
What song did you walk down the aisle to?
Higher Love by Ja mes Vincent Mc Morrow
What song played for your first dance?
Making memories of us by Keith Urban
Any advice for those planning their wedding now?
Start planning as early as possible, our day was stress free as we had been planning for 18 months and it all just fell into place on the day.
What are you most looking forward to as a married couple?
Watching our little girl Harper grow up and adding to our little family in years to come
What did you like the most about working with Shell?
Her easy going personality made us both feel very comfortable which showed in the photos. She had great ideas and ended up being a friend not just a photographer. Our photos were amazing and she captured every moment of the day.
